What are you willing to pay to have the painting and repair work done? Figure out that amount and contact senior services. Ask them for people who are willing to do this type of work. Have you contacted your church and asked them? What about your kids?

Check with the elder network in your area. The would have the resources to help you find the help that you need. They are there to help seniors stay in their homes as long as possible and know that some things that need to be done are out of the ability of many seniors. Check them out. If you don't have an elder network check with your church to see if they know of a group that may be able to help you.
