You could put flower pots around the pool. I'm assuming it's round. If you plant flowers, they might start to grow big roots after some time, and might interfear with the bottom of the pool. You can also mix it up with statues and flowers. Aquadic statues such as a turtle, fish, some seashells, whatever goes with the plants. Balance it out, to look uniform.
