I want to redo my counter top. What's a cheap way to do this

I can't imagine your home is built directly on sand! There is generally a concrete slab beneath. You should replace it to not damage the rest of your home and your neighbors'. You'll end up paying their damages!

Perhaps for a little while but it will leak again. The commercials only show short-term successes. Best is to replace the shower pan, but you can use a fiberglass repair kit intended for use on car bodies. It will take patience and skill to do an acceptable repair.

Thanks for reply. This is a one piece unit. Talked to Front Porch...outside their scope of work to replace pan only. BTW, neighbor says only 1st floor showers placed over sand, but still worry about damage. Are we looking at full replacement then?

If you feel like giving it a try, the fiberglass auto body repair will do the job. If it were mine I would invest the twenty bucks and see how good I can make it look before springing for the new unit but it will never look like new again.
