    Boy scouts used to sell these. take old TP rolls and stuff them with wadded up newspaper. melt some candle wax and pour over the newspaper. let dry. this is for OUTSIDE fires.

    I can't see first answer so I apologize if this is a repeat. I used to make these and they worked and smelled great. Old candle wax poured over small pine cones in old muffin Pans.

    I keep the cardboard toilet paper rolls and stuff drier vent lint in them. Use them to start fires in or wood stove in basement.
