What is the best way to protect hardwood floors from damage from pets?
I have two great dogs that just can not help themselves when it comes to doing their business in the house. I would like to refinish my hardwood floors and use something that will protect them from further damage due to my ill trained pups.

Will your dogs use the puppy pads? I tried when I was training, but it was a complete disaster, they did nothing but rip them into itsy bitsy teeny tiny pieces. Uckily all but one was easy to train. The last one was a stubborn little thing.
