Amandaon Jun 22, 2018Hi Corrie. Did you try to lightly sand them so the paint will adhere better? I would also get a oil based primer to put on before painting. The oil base works much better. What material are they? You may need to get a special epoxy paint depending on the material. You could take a door into a local paint or home improvement store and see what they would recommend.HelpfulReply

Amandaon Jun 22, 2018I did a little research and it looks like you can purchase a special paint binding primer to use. I would see what your local home improvement store recommends. Good Luck!HelpfulReply
