What is the best product to use on concrete stained steps?

Cleaning stained steps.
A friend of mine has stained concrete floors, and she uses Zep Neutral Floor Cleaner - I think she gets it a Lowes or Home Depot. I'm not sure about exterior steps, but it probably needs to be er-sealed every year or so.
