I have a staghorn but there is another plant growing on my oak that I do not know what it is and I am scared it will harm my staghorn fern.

Hi, Olga! If you are referring to the leaves above the staghorn, it looks like some sort of fern. I would check at a trusted green house in your area and take this picture with you to find out if it could harm your staghorn. They will let you know if it needs to be removed and how to go about that without damaging your gorgeous staghorn.

couldn't find exact picture on google. Take some to your local nursery as Nancy said and they should be able to tell you what it is and if it would harm your staghorn. Hope you find an answer!!

its an elkhorn fern it’s the sister to the stag horn they are both native to Australia and we buy them here as hanging plants and they attach to oaks and cedar. And grow in Florida it won’t hurt your tree at all they actually are good for one another.
