We have 2-story/daylight basement home. The bottom portion is poured concrete and only 2 walls are fully exposed (other 2 are underground). The upper floor is cedar shingles. Need ideas for what to do with the 2 concrete walls. Don't want to spend lots of money or take a lot of time to complete. Thanks!

Man-made rocks will make it look like a stone foundation and are only 1 1/2 inch thick

Looked into that. It would be approximately $6,000 for the rocks plus labor and concrete to make it stick to wall. Thanks for answering though.

Is there a patio or an exit on either of these walls? I was thinking of using some outdoor furniture, pot and planters to draw your focus away from the wall.

Thanks for the reply. Each wall has an exit and several windows. I have placed patio furniture against the walls. I think no one pays attention to the walls except for my husband and I. To us it is ugly and we want to make it blend in more with the rest of our outdoor space.

How about using two or three shades of watered down paint colors and using a sponge painting effect over the walls to add some color.

I had thought about doing that but want to distract attention from the walls. It is a huge space and might detract from the patio area. Thanks for the reply.

How about framing sections of lattice and attaching them to the concrete? You can even attach potted plants to the lattice. This will draw your focus to what is on the wall but not the wall.
