This DIY, West Elm Inspired Succulent Planter is a great way to dress up your gardening pots, easily. Inside or outside this little dash or upscale will really brighten up your current planters with a cute metallic design. Easy to care for succulent plants are a wonderful way to brighten up your planter shelf!
• Make sure your pot is clean and dry.
• Place your pot upside down on a large cardboard surface and spray your spray paint.

• Allow your first paint coat to dry, and then spray on a second coat.

• Once your second coat of paint is completely dry, be sure to turn over and spray paint the rim and the inner edges.

• Again spray paint twice allowing for those edges and rims to dry completely in between coats.
• Once the pot is dry, take two strips of painter’s Tape and make a triangle with the point pointing up. Be certain to really press down on the inner edges of the tape in order to ensure nice straight, white lines and not get any seepage.

• Using a small amount of white paint, paint within the taped lines of the triangle. This may take four (4) complete coat of white paint. Wait until the paint is dry from one coat of white paint before applying the next coat of white paint.

• Once your white paint is completely dry, carefully peel the Painter’s Tape from the pot.
Plant your succulents as desired. You can also do this to larger pots and plant other types of flowers, herbs, and/or vegetables! Change the paint colors and have an array of silver, gold, and copper paints on your windowsill or backyard (or front yard) garden patio. These add a nice little pop of color to any container garden.
