Hanging stemmed glass racks, or just a wine rack if you’re so inclined. The secoNd site is dividers to enable you to store cookie sheets or pretty low-rimmed baking dishes you might have.

Or you could make a “curtain” with a little dark spring rod, small curtain clips and a bamboo-look placemat to hide what’s inside.

A lot of us have colorful bowls from our mothers or grandmothers that we‘re Almost afraid to use. Too pretty to hide.

You could extend your pantry up. Add some doors and you’ll have 3 spaces for can goods .

If you’re a wine drinker this would be a nice spot for a wine rack ,or wine glasses hanging. Add some lights behind the glass and you have a show piece.!

If you have tea cups or coffee mugs you could hang them in here . Again add the lights to show them off even a mirror in background with them.

    Glam it up!

I have this feature too and right now it’s filled with an appliance we don’t even use!

I’d love 💕 to creative in this space!

Or add a shelf and display some pretties And pictures.

Good Luck ☘️! And Have Fun!

I would make or purchase new doors for all three areas. Then You can use it as a full pantry or to store dishes and glasses.

Since your microwave was there you should have electrical access, you could make a coffee/tea bar.

You got some very good suggestions. Or you could put rope or fairy lights in it and put in decorative glass or something you want to display.

If you don't need it for kitchen storage, it could work for storage of games or perhaps media equipment, dvds, or even as a charger station.

Love the coffee bar idea, and a wine rack would be pretty. Another simple solution would be an open shelf to store cookbooks.

Obviously you need storage for the items on the top of the cart. Put some sort of door on - wood or curtain on tension rod. Or take a piece of wood and attach with hinges to make a flip up door, then store the items you have on top where the microwave was
