What do I use to remove the “stickiness “ from my butcher block?
I use it to both roll out cookie and pie dough but also slide my hot baked cookies to cool onto it. But over time it has gotten sticky from the old oils soaking into the wood. It has to be safe to eat from due to my food prep. I did use mineral oil on it to season the wood years ago and will again but not til I can remove stickiness.
