What kind of tree is this?

Thank you! Almost everyone said this is a kousa dogwood. Glad that it also doesn't get some of the diseases that affect the more popular dogwoods.

Yes, it’s a very hearty tree, just not as showy as regular dogwood, which I adore! You might want to think of pairing it with something more flowering. If its not in a very sunny spot, take a look at mountain laurel. Very similar aesthic and evergreen. Good luck!

Congratulations on having such a lovely tree in your landcape Linda! I havent seen one in years- my neighbor had one at a prior residence in a different state.
