I have very limited knowledge of construction. The room is approx. 24 X 12, has two doors and 13 windows already installed.

Bead board would be a simple solution for the lower part of the walls. Clean out too much stuff in there. Put a face on the open storage so you can't see all the stuff (paints cans, etc.) under there. More seating perhaps with storage underneath http://hngideas.com/decorating-ideas/storage-organization/20-diy-storage-bench-for-adding-extra-storage-and-seating/

Thanks, we are trying the bead board, white with thin lines. Having a hard time because the rest of the structure is not straight. Those are extra cushions piled up for the outside furniture (been rainy here). Paint cans are hidden for now...using them to stain outside deck. Will check out your link...Thanks so much.

Both of the other suggestions are good,I agree. I would definitely declutter, maybe some type of theme to the room and some string lights for evenings.

Lights are a good idea. Have two lamps and one hanging light. Clutter is from the outside...been raining here and had to bring everything inside. Thanks for your suggestions....

Hi Cathi, I think you have a fun project on your hands! You have lots of good stuff going on you just need to finish it. Get the bead board up all around the room. I see the one wall seems to be leaning. Is it no attached for a reason?

It looks like you use this room for drying laundry sometimes. How about one of those retractable clothes lines so you don't have the hangers and clothes clip spinner always in view?

You also seem to use the room for storing things so if there is a solid one somewhere (I can't tell in the pix) how about a ceiling to floor cupboard with lots of storage space.

I think a corner would be great with a small table for 2 along with a tea cart near. Some bright colors would be fantastic to liven things up.

Maybe another corner with a trio of block cushion seating that have storage underneath. A small coffee table with a shelf underneath for more items.

I found a way to make my 3 season room into 4! Place an electric fireplace that provides the cozy look with flame but also with heat. Has remote but we just set the temp to 73 and it provides heat to maintain.

The room use to be damp but NOW THAT IS FIXED TOO!

AM LOVING ALL YEAR ROUND NOW..Everyone's fave room.
