if you are handy with a needle, then cut a hole just a bit larger than the pole. you will turn under the cut fabric and stitch it for a finished look. Don't forget that the table cloth may blow away too. best to take small fishing weights and sew these into the edges - and you will have to do this abort 8-12 inches apart..

Hi Yolanda ! You’ll want to seam it on one side and use Velcro or perhaps some pretty snaps or buttons to connect the two pieces.

You could make the table cloth bigger and overlap the pieces so you wouldn’t use fasteners of any sorts ( rather like the

” wrap around skirts”) Good Luck☘️!

Get some oilcloth, vinyl or waterproof fabric from JoAnnes or Hobby Lobby, Walmart etc. Find the fabrics that are not folded and are wrapped on a roll. Waterproof fabric won't need to be hemmed. These fabrics are usually 60", so you will want to have them cut 60" ( 5 ft) so you have a square. Fold the fabric diagonally and line up edges to trim off any excess so you have an exact square. To find the center, fold it diagonally again so you have four layers of fabric. (Do this on the reverse side) Chalk mark the folded corner to find the center. Measure the size of the hole in the center of your table. Use something about the same size (paper towel core) to mark a circle centered over your chalk point. Pick up some heavier washers at Home Depot or Lowes etc and hot glue them on the back of the corners and along the back of the edges about 10" apart. (You may have to play with various weight sizes) Cut out the center and place your new tablecloth over the center hole and then pop in your umbrella. You can also do this with a fabric tablecloth and use a heavyweight clear vinyl to overlay your tablecloth. Paint and decorate wood clothespins to hold them together. You may have to hot glue weights on the underside on the clothespins. Wish I had pictures, but there are endless possibilities to make your outdoor table gorgeous.

You will need a slit in the tablecloth unless you want to remove the umbrella each time you remove the tablecloth. A slit could be made cute with little bows, or maybe it could button on or lace on like a shoe lace. Lots of ways of making this a knock out.
