This is the final chapter, or episode, of a journey that started as a Challenge of the Week featuring stencils back in February. It wasn't until the end of the third post about adding a bookcase that this became a book (novel?) I went back to the beginning of the applicable posts and added part numbers to those involved.

This Part 5 of the redo will tie them all together.
Part 1 - Stencil/Craft Desk Redo
For the stencil challenge the old computer desk was re-purposed and it became the work station. I call it my "Creation Station".
Part 2 - Tension Rod/Hutch
Part 2 is about using tension rods, as well as info about moving the hutch off the desk and mounting it to the wall. This setup gave a large increase in work space.
Part 3 - Revamp Bookcase
Part 3 added this tall bookcase to the group. It was already here (35+ years old) and needed to be refreshed, so it was painted and stenciled and loaded up.
Part 4 - Garage Cabinet Redo
Part 4 introduced this garage workbench purchased at an estate sale. It was pretty clean so all that was done was to add a new counter to the horizontal top and then a new backer board was added to lighten it up inside.
Supply Drawers Revamp
These drawers were covered with wrapping paper and Mod Podge. There was not a previous post of this.
Embelishments
These copper pieces were from an estate sale that cost $5 for all. The large container holds binder clips; the smaller two contain paper clips.
More Embelishments
The pencil cups were $.50 total. They were plain ivory so I added some color. I love how the texture makes these pop.
Ideas
The "Ideas" box holds just about every table tent/marketing brochure that Hobby Lobby has. You know, for the time after I make it through my 54 pages of notes with photos and examples of ideas I'd like to do.

(All the above items had been purchased previously.)
Still More Embelishments

These test tubes were marked $8 but on the final day they cost $.50. The corks were all bad but I found another use for the test tubes. They hold my paint brushes. There were two test tubes missing but there were two finial glasses there also so I scooped them up after making sure they fit into the stand.

These items were all purchased at the same estate sale. Test tubes, glass floral bouquet and mini sewing machine were all $.50 each. The $2 spice jar set was re-purposed into glitter shakers.
Craft Closet Chaos
While doing the craft area I also needed to clean up the craft closet. Nothing drastic this time but I hope it becomes a project for next year.

After - looks more organized!

Before
This is the before photo, back in Winter. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the whole area.
Finished!
Ta Da! Here is the final! In the redo I decided to turn the desk around so I was facing the room instead of facing the wall. In the previous setup I had put a large mirror on the desk in order to see the reflection of the TV. Not a great setup. The desk was also moved to the left from where it was. This gave more wiggle room, getting it further from the hutch.

The other wall items in this photo were highlighted in earlier posts on Hometalk. They included from left to right: button farm project; the thread holder (under the clock), and the heavy metal drawer sets. I don't believe the jewelry boards were ever posted; the broken jewelry is for button and jewelry projects.

The journey took place over several months because of finding additional items and also because of a few interruptions, like having to re-screen all of the windows in the house. (I will post more about that but not as additional chapters in this process!)
This was an after photo, before the last cabinet was added.
