What is the best solution to use to clean this gunk from my windows?
try white vinegar for the mold
I use a cleaning cloth with straight white vinegar on mine, but you msy want to test a spot to make sure it doesn't remove the paint.
Hi Beverly. I use dish soap and water. I also use it to clean the windows glass. I use a sponge and wipe it on then squeegee it off and wipe any excess. Good luck!
I would try soaking paper towels in half water half vinegar and then place the towels on the dirty spots. Let it sit for a little while and then wipe clean! Test an inconspicuous spot first :)
Are these windows vinyl or wood?
I sprinkle a little baking soda on first, then spray it with vinegar in a spray bottle. Let it set a bit, scrub it lightly with an old toothbrush if needed, then wipe clean. Works good for me. :)
I use a steam cleaner that blasts it off like a power washer. No chemicals!
