How can I hang shelves in a metal shed w/o making holes in the walls?

I just purchased a house that has a 8x10 (?) metal shed in the yard. I want to put up shelving and brackets to hold up tools and such but don't want the walls to spring a leak every time it rains. Do I only drill in what I hope are metal studs then add plywood on top of the metal walls? What are my options to make this shed much more efficient? Also, what is the best method to insulate the shed and protect not only what's inside but protect me while I'm inside working. Thanks from New Orleans!
