After pressure washing you could stain it or score a pattern into the concrete. https://www.todayshomeowner.com/video/how-to-improve-the-look-of-a-concrete-patio/

From this photo it looks to me as if some of the surface of the concrete patio is beginning to disintegrate or crumble away. I am wondering if the surface were compromised before it was fully dried. (?) Perhaps this should be addressed first before any paint or decorative design were to be applied.

I also see that there is a gap between the bottom of the post and the surface of the concrete. This tells me that it may have been originally designed with the intention to cover the concrete with more attractive stonework or tile.

You could put thin slabs or ceramic outdoor tile on top of the concrete. That would be very low maintenance and practical for the damp WA weather.

The aggregate portion of the yard with the adjoining large rocks and greenery is a lovely tableau with a zen feeling. It would be worth the investment to finish the concrete with proper texture and color to match the rest of the decor.

We cleaned ours with TSP, then taped it off to look like 12 x 12 tiles, used concrete paint and applied with a roller. After it dried we removed the tape and were finished. I had people actually standing on it that thought it was really tiles! The project only cost $38.00.
