I have tiny black ants in my kitchen, how to get rid of them?

They are always going for something. It could be water, or your kitchen is in their path, even if their destination is beyond it. See if you can trace where they are coming in and how they are getting out.

We use a product called Terro. Works every time!

Terro, sold in 3 pack of small cans, should kill them. Keep it away from food, children, etc. Distilled white vinegar should disturb their scent trail. Wipe it all over areas where you see ants, assuming surfaces can take moisture.

Use EcoRaider (Amazon has it) It is usable around kids, animals and does the job. Works great with one treatment for all crawling things.

We have ants occasionally, but since we also have small children, and allergies, and pets, we have to be careful what we use. I make a paste of boric acid, powdered sugar and water, put that on a small paper plate, and put the plate behind the canisters; ants eat the mix, call all their friends (millions of them, evidently), and the next day they are all dead. Throw the plate away, and start over next time. For grease ants (the little red ones), I make the mix with oil or butter instead of water.

Easy peasy!!! 50/50 Borax and table sugar. It kills them by: eating through the exoskeleton, poisons the trail, poisons the ones that eat it, they feed the dead (poisoned) adults to the nursery = kills entire nest.
