Round metal grill that is surrounded by the Green plastic part. Protects the plastic fins below it from debris and the mower from injury.

That's a John Deere and that's usually where they put the air filter. Do you have the owner's manual? This is the link from John Deere online where you can download all the publications you'll need. Look for the model number and serial number on your lawn mower so you get the right info.

It is called a screen... usually to keep stuff out of the engine
To the best of my knowledge, it is called a fly wheel fan cover.
