Weed or perennial?

These are quite tall. I’m guessing 36”...and some of the larger plants are very bushy, with larger ‘branches‘ on the main stalk. No flowers yet, and not really seeing any flower buds forming. Any help greatly appreciated.
I do not know what it is, but even if it is a weed, it is pretty.

Keep an eye on it, it may give you more to research, like flowers
Looks like marijuana to me.
If you like it and it is not taking over your property, leave it and enjoy it. If you don’t like it, pull it up by the roots, stalk and all. Burn it or put it in a plastic bag so the seeds won’t fall back into your yard. It apparently slow growing enough that you can keep it pulled up, so no poison is needed. I wish it would bloom to make it easier to identify. Best wishes, Judy. ☺️
