Best way to paint paneling when adjoining wall is drywall?

    I am going to assume the paneling has grooves. I spackled in the grooves on mine, sanded, primed, then painted. It took quite a bit of sanding. That was a few years ago. If I were to do it now, I would just prime and paint. I like the textural interest of the grooves.

    Thank you. The adjoining wall is small but the others I may just prime and paint.

    Thank you. The drywalled wall is attached so think I will spackle that one and maybe adjoining other wall leave as focal point with different colour.
