Any suggestions for getting rid of mosquitoes on the deck?

    citronella candles or bug spray before the event, some say geraniums work but not sure about that

    Citronella plants really help! You can buy them at any garden center.

    Spray it down with any natural insecticide that has Lemongrass in it.

      Do I just spray the deck? Earlier in the day? The guests are coming at 330 that day.thank you for taking time to respond

    Cittronella but Avon skin so soft works as well. I have tiki torches the candles and use skin so soft the natural woodland scent. They don’t like it for some reason. I hope this helps

    spray thye deck and surrounding area at least 30 minutes before expected guest arrival.

    A friend of mine uses dryer sheets wound around the metal supports on her umbrella. Old-fashioned fly strips work wonders and are still available.

    Put it on yourself and your guests. Your guests won’t mind. It’s a pleasant smell!

    If you have fans available, place them around your deck. The moving air current disturbs mosquitos, which will keep them away.
