Dark wax and deep grooves go together like peanut butter and jelly! Or rain drops and umbrellas! They were just made for each other. I try to use dark wax any chance I get because I LOVE the way it "ages" the piece. How do you know if a piece of furniture is DARK WAX worthy? Grooves, indentions, chunky legs, and designs. The dark wax will accentuate those spots perfectly!
I used Annie Sloan Paris Grey chalk paint.
We found this gem on the side of the road while jogging one morning! Score!!
After the paint dried, I applied a coat of Annie Sloan clear wax. Then afterwards, I used the dark wax in the crevices. Removing the excess with a soft cloth.
