It is hard not knowing what are your favorite colors, or the other colors in your home. I am partial to reds in a kitchen. But hard to do different shades of red. Or a dark blue and a lighter blue?
Sky blue if you use dark colour like red try only a feature wall maybe a mirror opposite window to bring in more light

I'd do a navy blue all the way around with white trim. But be sure the navy leans toward a gray tone rather than a purple tone. I've used Newburyport by Benjamin Moore (HC155) and really liked it. If you're not brave enough to go that dark try Cornflower 24-11 by Pratt & Lambert

If you are going with a black back splash, i would go with a light color on the walls. Maybe something in the gray family. You can add accent colors through your decor.
Thank you all for your answers still haven’t decided yet 😏
I like Swiss coffee color, or Bright Lemon Yellow. What are the colors in the adjacent rooms?
A nice burgundy accent wall with the other walls a light colour/shade.
When I was younger I remember painting my wall a nice light blue, then taking a sponge and dabbing it all over with light purples and light greens and light yellows, all were like the baby colours, you could do that on 2 wala then an accent wall with a deeper bolder color. If you use multiple colours on your walls I find it's really easy to find decor that goes well with it as there's multiple colours not just one you have to match things with!
