Hi, You picture did not show up. But painting or putting siding on a shed will help. I have had mine sided, and have put a new door on it. I also landscaped around it. I also have a flag hanging from it. Now it looks like a little house.
Hey Zibby, it definitely could use some landscaping around it. Put a couple of square pacers leading up to the little ramp, with grass between the pavers to make it look welcoming. Put some shrubs or flowers around the three sides to hide the bottom of the shed. If the walls are strong enough to support some weight, perhaps put up a fake window (can be large or small) and hang a window box below each of them. You could paint it a different color if you think you want a change to make it look sharper, sometimes that can make a world of difference. I hope this helps you make some changes to get the look that you want, or at least gets the gray matter working to help get your look. Make sure what you do is what you want, after all, you are the one that has to be seeing it every day. I look forward to seeing this project here on Hometalk! Have a great weekend!
I'd put larger hinges and handle on the doors, then flowering shrubs. It's a nice shed and I like the color.
Hi Zibby, that's really cute and I love the color on it. My first thought, too, was to put fake windows on either side of the doors, etc. Great minds! Then I googled with a question and this link popped up with so many ideas...so I'm attaching it. A picture is worth a thousand words! Such cute sheds in the link. The first thing I would do is to fix up the entry with pavers or steps of some type and then a few landscape plants to soften the area around the shed. What fun to be able to change it up so when you look out at it you enjoy it! Check out these ideas.

I saw a cute solution to create the appearance of windows on a shed. If the space each side of your shed is wide enough, you can put a pair of narrow, short shutters on each side, giving the appearance of windows with closed shutters. Then below the shutters attach window boxes and fill with beautiful flowers. Use some trailing flowers to soften the look.
This is a cute shed. I would possibly put a trellis on each side of the doors with a climbing vine. (If you have a black thumb, use artificial.) Using Dollar Store picture frames, make fake windows on the doors like they do on garage doors with paint. Put a few stepping stones out in front to give a small porch feel with posts on the outside corners with solar lights. You could do this a step at a time. I can see it, sooooo awesome.
Zibby have you considered a she shed? On yours I think I'd change the doors to screened doors so you can get air in. If there isn't already a window in back add one so you have air flow. I can't tell from the pic if the ramp is wood or concrete but if wood how about changing it to a simple step up/down with pavers that extend out into the yard a short ways and pea gravel on the sides to widen it.
On the other hand disregard the screened doors and ramp replacement if it's just remaining a functional shed for the mower. However you could still do these beautification ideas---
Faux shuttered windows on the sides of the front door would be cute, especially with flower window boxes below.
A short picket fence would be a sweet addition as well. A trellis with some vining flowers up the side would be great as well.
If you're looking for something more simple for the exterior view you could paint the ramp. Add a solar light above the doors. Add something cute to the sides of the door such as a fence decor piece which is usually flat but cheerful and bright.
You could paint it something like this..http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-Your-Own-Storage-Shed/
You could spruce it up with these things. Especially the window & maybe put mirrors from the dollar store where the glass goes in the window. https://www.hometalk.com/diy/build/planters/fence-post-plant-hanger-30142532

Fence Post Plant Hanger...
Thank you! I was wondering what to put behind a "fake" window - but it looks like it's fine to leave the shed showing through. The glass window looks great!
Hobby Lobby has some great looking hinges for $5 each (when on sale). They are a verdigris but spray painted mine black. If you want something simpler, Home Depot sells somewhat fancy hinges. Van Dykes Restoration Hardware sells even fancier hinges in a variety of sizes.
I agree with the answers that you have received.
Change the hinges to larger ones.
Paving stones leading to the shed.
I would leave the color as it is great.
Perhaps adding suspended pot plants on either side of the door with an overhead lamp above each one.
Small rock features on either side of the shed door (as landscaping)
Happy changing!!!!
