Only if your sink was pre drilled to fit (3 holes). You may not know this until you remove the existing faucet. Looks like if it was, you could install a 4"spread, two handle type. Is there a reason you woukdn't consider an updated single handle faucet, without the escutcheon plate? New single handeled ones are taller and sleeker, and with ceramic discs, no leaks.
YES.... to be sure.... remove the old faucet and take it with you to buy the new one.... that way you are sure to get the right set up.... and while you are replacing the faucet.... replace the water supply lines too.... WE try and put in the "no burst" version.
You sure can. All sinks have three holes for faucets. The base of a single handle faucet covers the two other holes.

When you remove it you can find out if it will work.
I purchased the old-fashioned two-handled faucet with HOT on one handle and COLD on the other. Chrome for upstairs and brass for downstairs PR.
William is right. With custom builds, or with integrated one piece basin and countertop, sometimes the single hole for the faucet is cut out into the countertop after the under-mount basin is installed. However, your sink is a common over-mount style. These are manufactured with three holes. The bottom part of your present faucet is wide enough to cover up the three holes.
You're welcome.
