DIY Reclaimed Wood Bathroom Shelves
In a small bathroom sometimes bathroom shelves need to be a custom size.
This tiny space needed a small set of custom shelves and doing it for FREE was only a bonus!
I began by creating two brackets using pieces from an old dresser.
This broken IKEA dresser had great pieces of wood to use for the shelves.
I saved all the large pieces from the drawers to use create a new project.
I stained the reclaimed wood from the drawer backs with a dark kona stain and then sealed them with a clear matte polycrylic sealer.
The drawers were originally made from different pieces of wood which took the stain beautifully.
I used wood glued and and screws to attach the brackets to the shelves.

I same here have a small bathroom that I wanted to add some shelves above my toilet! Plus Some kinda storage organization under my little vanity sink!

I wish I had a vanity with storage in this bathroom, it would make things easier but we went with a pedestal. The shelves above the toilet work for my makeup and things I need every day.
