Dyson heat and cool, or Seville Classics tower fan with multiple direction/fan speed and timer capabilities work very well. For more money, Mitsubishi splits will also heat and cool, and are available for smaller rooms.

Thank you! Should we put up anything at the top Windows where spun is most intense? Like blinds or something.

We just installed a Mitsubishi split in our sunroom and it works great. The room in 13 X 13 and it is very comfortable. We live in NC on the coast and the heat and sun is very intense.

Blinds will give you an option to control light, but they can be a pain to dust, clean. Drapes or roller shades might be less hassle and can be vacuumed if needed, or laundered. You can make 1 drape for multiple windows on same wall, and install a 1 way draw drapery rod, if that would work for you (vs. 2 way traverse), or even mount drapery with rings and clips, and simply push to one side or the other, depending upon sun's angle. For added insulation at windows, install black out material with thermal break lining behind drape, or as liner. It comes in white, ivory, black, and works well for insulation, noise reduction, privacy!
