How do I clean my painted walls safely after a host of pollen from the pine trees has turned everything in this mobile from white to a yellow green. I don't want to take the paint off, just the pollen...thank you....

I'd start with trying to BLOW it off with either a hairdryer on cool, or the 'exhaust/blow' feature on your vacuum cleaner ... then if that doesn't remove most of it, a very soft dry brush -- a Fox tail, or even a paint brush before you put any water or cleaning agent on it at all -- then if you have an upholstery brush attachment for your vacuum cleaner, use that and always work from the ceiling down ...

next option is to ( in an unobtrusive spot ) try clear, cool water on a soft cloth and blot -- don't 'scrub' or 'rub'...

  • Easy, wash with vinegar. Big car wash sponge or even a swiffer type mop. I wash my walls all the time!

You must live in Washington? I would think the vacumn cleaner would remove.

Do you have a vacuum with a hose and brush on it to vacuum the walls etc? It might help to get it out of the home. Also, if you have central air, be sure to clean your filter too. It sounds awful with all that pollen, it would make us sick. Hope this helps Roz.
