Some floor stores have scraps they will give you for free. Cut them in shapes you want. And glue them to the floor. Make sure the pieces will fit togeather snug. Cost ,glue. Time to do this. Depends on the size of your Bathroom.
Look at Parteanon Marfil Ceramic Tile found at Tile Shop. Looks exactly like ”Queen Beige” marble used in our guest bath @ a huge fraction of the cost. Yes, love the marble, but I would have used ceramic tile had it been available three yrs ago.

Try going to a building supply salvage yard where you can get anything for pennies on the dollar. If you really want to save time and money, the absolute BEST thing you can do is to have a plan mapped out ahead of time. This will allow you to take advantage of the craigslist and salvage yard deals since you will already know exactly what and how much you need for your project.

Sometime fast and cheap...is relative.. and may not actually work out right.
Fast... put up bead board or paneling instead of dry wall or tile in the main area of the bath room..... install on of the walk in shower or shower/tub.combos from Home Depot or Lowe's .... some even come with the shower doors (ours cost $1500 but the install was DIY)
Cheap.... shop Craig's list, Habitat for Humanity, or construction salvage stores.. and Clearance.... make sure you take GOOD measurements before purchasing anything... otherwise, there goes the fast part and the cheap part. Have all of the pieces and parts assembled and be sure they fit the used stuff.. before you start tearing out anything...
