Vintage Doll House...Repurposed for a Shelf...

I've had this doll house hiding in the basement for years now. I finally brought it up and gave it a new "purpose" as a shelf...
Love the cute graphics on the side...
The windows were missing so I used chalkboard inspired scrapbook paper and glue dots to add some.
Filled with clocks and signs...
...it makes a great "conversation" piece.
I bought these clock shells (already empty) at an occasional sale a while back. I just added some torn book pages and a button magnet to hold a treasured family photo.
I think it is a fun an unexpected shelf in my Great room :)

Adorable! So clever. I once took out the room dividers of a doll house like this and used it to cover my sewing machine. So many cute uses for things that have outgrown their original use.
