Can you put bead board over ceramic tile on walls in bathroom?

    I would take the ceramic tiles out, only because there could be gaps if you put the beadboard on top of it which could turn into a moisture problem. It is not hard to take the ceramic tiles down, and if the wall gets damaged, you will not have to repair it because you are putting bead board over it. Good luck.

    I would take the tiles out too - you don't want the wall to trap water and it turn to mold.

    Take the tiles out. You need a smooth and solid base for anything you put on a wall.

    I have also seen wallpaper that looks like beadboard and that might be an option.
