How do I restore bathroom floor tiles in a 58 year old home?

I had water damage from my bathrooms (3) which I am paying at a cost of $12, 900. My homeowners insurance did not cover the restoration. However, they did replace the vanity, wall etegere and cleaning. I would like to restore the tile floors in 2 of the bathrooms since I have new appliances. I’ve been in my home for 50 years; the house is 58 years old. How can I restore the tile floors without demolition since my insurance didn’t cover floor restoration. What materials works best for covering over the original tiles since I cannot afford restoration (I’m 79 years old and do not qualify for any senior assistant programs). Appreciate any help and assistant from DIY! Thank you!!!
