Never use the garden tub and would like a larger shower in the master. I have another tub in other full bath.

Sony, you could live in my subdivision. I agree that a giant shower and maybe some linen storage would be preferable. You will probably need a contractor and a plumber for this job. Make sure all demolition and building and plumbing are done to code. But you could do the caulking, trim work, and painting. You may lose part of your window, so you may need to update the lighting, and the footprint of the tub and shower may not match, so you will need a flooring change. An electrician may be needed, but this could give you a chance to install adjustable lighting and add plugins. You will have a more useable bathroom and a special retreat, too. Best wishes! ☺️

Here's a bunch of information, Sony. You want the same thing my husband and I have been talking about. We have used our tub twice in 16 years! It just eats up space!

We just did this and I love my walk-in shower. I have an open shower, no threshold with both rain shower and hand held. Haven’t missed my tub at all.
