Best vinyl for cricut stencil?

Looking to make some wood signs but I have not seen the thick stencil that I see at those sign nights. Can you recommend thicker vinyl? Thank you

cricut just came out with permanent vinyl. Or buy some of the professional vinyl from a sign shop.
Do you they use a thick vinyl or is it thick plastic. I've used transparency sheets to cut stencils and I'll be trying quilting acetate next. I've heard it's really inexpensive.
