HI Rose,
If you have room on the floor, you could get two pressure rods and put them across the bottom of your closet. The first one would be lower and closer to the opening. The second one would be higher and closer to the back. Put each pair of shoes on top of each other - toe in the heal, then hook the bottom heel to the back rod and rest the front toe on the front rod. This should give you a lot of space to organize your shoes. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.
Hi Rose, how about hanging them on bathroom towel racks? The racks are far enough from the wall so the high heel tip (not the toe) can rest on the wall supporting the shoe. Put them on the inside of the closet door, on the walls anywhere you've got 18, 24 or 36 inches. Good luck!
I've seen over-the-door hangers for heels, but I thought this was a clever idea, Rose:
If you have the floor space, you could use under the bed plastic containers. It would keep the shoes clean and you can easily pick out what you want to wear. I do this with shoes that don't fit into the clear plastic shoe boxes. I have collected a lot of shoes over the years that I still wear, and they have stayed in perfect condition. I hope this helps, Rose!
Hi Rose, one idea I saw was to install molding on the wall and put the heels of you high heels on the top of the molding and they just sit next to the wall. You could space the molding from as high as you can reach down an entire small wall and store many pairs of heels!
Wow never thought people would take thier time to help me.....what a great site
