YOU SHOULD RLEMOVE ONE LENGTH OF YOUR SIDING SO THAT THE STRUCTURE SITS FLAT AGAINST THE WALL. ATTACH A 2x10 IN THE SPACE THE LENGTH YOU REQUIRE. HIS WILL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO ATTACH YOUR RAFTERS TO.

careful about this. Check with your city codes. Here in phoenix you have to get permits if you do this. Among many reasons.. it changes how water rolls off your house and can cause water to collect agains the house between the shed/house. If you have nosey neighbors like mine they can call in and report it. But if your going to do it make sure to use some flashing where the two meet to avoid water getting between the two and rotting out structural stuff

Both of the answers were good. but I'm going to suggest one more thing. A metal roof. They don't require as much of a pitch as a standard roof does. I don't know where you live, but snow slides off of it very easily. But don't forget gutters.
