Buy some Citrastrip at the hardware store. The directions are on the bottle.
I agree as Citrastrip works well for most finishes and is less toxic than other strippers. The directions are easy to follow.
Depending on how thick finish is I would use a stripper from a hardware store. Apply let sit few minutes or instructions on product. Use a plastic putty knife to scrape off. While off and when dry begin sanding. Remember to wear a mask and have open air area
If you have to strip, citristrip all the way! :)
I love citrastrip! Use a plastic scraper to avoid scratching the wood.
