What size area rug should I purchase?

The Sunroom is 17 feet x11. The couch sits on the 17 foot wall. The couch is 7 feet long- 34 inches deep. There is an end table on either side. Also in the room in the far corner is a 42 inch round table with 4 chairs.

Hi Bab, Since area rugs come in standard sizes, I would go with a 8x10. The next size up would be to wide. If you feel you need to cover more area, you could always buy it off a roll and have it bound.

The couch area with the end tables could use a rug long enough to include the end tables as part of a seating unit. The table area could have a coordinating rug of its own to designate it as another seating unit. I wish I had a big sun room like yours.
