What is the best copper to use for a back splash?

C HarrisDesertRoseCynthia H

We have a small back splash area in our kitchen which is now just painted Sheetrock. Was thinking of trying to do a copper tile back splash with the larger (maybe 12x12) tiles. How durable are they? How easy to clean and where can they be found? Thank you!

Have you considered a penny backsplash. You can google them for ideas. They are quite unique. And don't cost much

Hi! Another option could be copper flashing. I've seen it and it's really nice.

Yes, we did the same from a sheet of metal we bought at Lowe's (or probably any home improvement store), they had gold (we chose), tin, or copper colors of tin, light weight, peel and stick and worked GREAT. It looks like 3 D metal tiles, but it is all one sheet to cut to fit and put up. If we could do it, any one can do it. Hope this helps, C Harris.

Thanks. I’ll check Lowe’s next time i’m in there. That sounds like a great idea!
