How much vinegar do I put in the top of the toilet to help clean it?

It is better to put vinegar or other acid cleaners in the bowl, NOT into the tank. There are bolts that hold the tank in place. Over time, acid cleaners can corrode the bolts. Many toilet manufacturers recommend AGAINST putting any cleaners into the tank.
I read somewhere to pour a bottle or can of coke into the bowl and let sit for a few hours.....the acid will clean it...post if this works...I haven't tried it myself...
I heard that too but ive never tried it
