Door security- Any other options?
I have deadbolts, but would like to add 2x4’s or metal rods to bulk up security to my entry doors. Is there a means to make them look better and not give an industrial look? Any other options?

The easiest way to upgrade your door security, is to take out the short screws around the locks and put in at least 2 or 3 inch screws. Replacing them makes it hard to kick in a door.
Thanks Sal. Done that. I feel having 2 boards or bars across the door will make a bigger difference. Just trying to make something pretty that doesn’t distract from the beauty of the door.
