    Hello JRH,

I’ve recently seen other posters use this device to attach ceramic plates to the wall, I’m used to using the old fashioned visible wired spring adjustable plate hanger.

Im intrigued with this device. They seem to come in different sizes.

Please have a look at Q&A and reviews and see if this would be perfect for hanging your decorative hearts. I’m assuing the weight of your heart is similar to a plate?

Oh thats good to know, I have not used them personally, but need to consider trading out the ugly visible wire ones on my kitchen plates. The flatiron hanger might lie flatter agaist the wall with this innovative design. Thanks JRH!

    Command strips?

    • Janell Janell on Jul 11, 2018

Thought of trying those; maybe the ones that are more heavy duty(?). Thanks!

I agree with Nicki. I would try the command velcro strips. A velcro strip goes on the wall and the other piece goes on the back of the object you are hanging. Then you stick them together. They come in different sizes and hold a lot of weight. Don't know how heavy your heart is (smile) but you can use a couple of strips on each heart. Plus you can take them on and off the wall and position your hearts at different angles. They are for 'picture frames' but I've used them on several items of different sizes and shapes. Nice trays!

You could hot glue a saw toothed hanger to the back or even a pull tab from a beer or soda can, depending on the weight.

Hmmmm... might work since hearts are not heavy - just bulky. Thanks much!!

Think we finally found a solution... my husband used J B Weld on one with metal picture hanger and some metal putty with picture hanger on the other two.. let’s hope they stay on the wall😁

Velcro with adhesive on back of Velcro is sticky enough or use a straight finishing nail. Does not have a head on it so it is hardly visible

  • I would recommend command picture hanging strips that are velcro. They work great!!

  • Hi there, I personally would use a flush mount it would be a lot stronger. You would just have to attach the mount to the back with epoxy glue because that try look to thin to put a screw in.

I would just mount those to a larger Dowel, placed amid the Circles. To then mount that dowel as you would mostly any shelf, or a Furniture: Directly onto a Stud.
