Ugly full ceiling plastic screen flourescent bulbs in kitchen. help!
Ugly lights & one above sink burns out after two to three uses & is the hardest to change. Would live a separate light switch & light above sink-- HAVE No ideas for rest of ceiling!

One above sink sounds as though these is an electrical problem. Are you seeking pendant lights or canned lights? A qualified electrician can install lights on dimmer switches. L.E.D. lighting is most efficient, but make sure you get a "warm" tone light, vs. a "cool tone", which usually looks ghastly in a kitchen.
