Have you tried hearing it with a hair dryer and peeling it off?

I have heard that straight ammonia sprayed from a bottle then cover with plastic wrap and after about 45 minutes remove with putty knife.

Hi Mary, Try to peel a corner off a little, and squirt vinegar down on it. If that don't work try goo-gone, follow the instructions on the back

Hmmmmmm... y'all took ALL my suggestions. 🤣 I was going to ask if she tried a hair dryer on high and hot starting at the corner. Then saturating with APPLE CIDER vinegar (IMHO it works much better than white vinegar~~esp. If you get the unfiltered kind). Then to get the leftover gunk you could try goo-gone (liquid, not spray)

Or.... If it was me, I would take the window out, take to the local hardware store and have a new glass put in. But I tend to be lazy.
