They love impatiens, hosta, portulaca, lilies, Nine Bark, Hydrangea, tulips, arborvitae, etc. Try a spray of garlic, chili sauce, hot pepper sauce, mixed together in a little water and filtered through cheesecloth. Add lavender essential oil or eucalyptus or citrus essential oil to a glass spray bottle, along with the garlic mix. Spray all sides of leaves and stems in very early morning or later in evening. You'll need to respray weekly, or after heavy rains.

Hi there. I'm Cindy. I use shredded Irish Spring bars of soap to keep animals out of my garden. You can shred the bars on a box grater or even in a food processor. Animals hate the smell and taste of the soap. This is the only thing that has worked for me. I live next to woods and a river so I had all kinds of animals feasting on my vegetables. I buy a huge pack of the soap in the Spring and grate it all at one time. I store it in a bucket w/ lid in my shed. You will probably have to put down a little more after heavy rain. Best of luck to you.

Try putting broken egg shells around your plants. Most bugs and small animals don't like the sharp edges. Hope this helps
