What can I do with old worn out linoleum flooring with some dings ?

Some spots are missing a little bit. I'm renting and the landlord won't fix right now. I'm trying to update this house best I can on a poor man's budget.

You didn’t indicate what room(s) the problem is in. Maybe an area rug?

If appropriate, I agree with Zar31982358. You could even make your own rug from an inexpensive drop cloth from a hardware or home improvement store. Just paint it in the colors and the patterns that you like for your room.

What do you think about rugs?

I hope you have the owners permission to do updating, unless everything you are doing is removable when you move out. Some people are really weird that way and will make you pay to take them out instead of getting your deposit back, or even charging you above and beyond that amount. Get permission before you do anything permanent. One place I lived for 14 years and they tried to charge me to paint the interior of the house when they hadn't done it since we moved into the house. They even charged me for "yard damage" where my vegetable garden was that the owner told me I could put in the back yard. The management company was so strict about everything. The owner of the property wasn't.

Hi Paula. I'm Cindy. Since your place is a rental, making permanent changes could cost you. I recommend that you purchase rugs to lay over the worn out flooring. That way, the investment spent on rugs will be yours to keep. Take them with you when you move out. Best wishes.

Rug Thank you for your reply, I truly appreciate your help. I hv had owners permission on my own. Hv painted house from top to bottom except 2 bathrooms.

They were going to do some flooring, then cancelled.

I've done quite a lot of work to interior, painting on my own.

Have a rug in my living room on top of old carpet.

Thought about a rug in that room.

Was just wondering if some cool ideas would work other than that.

They hv like all so far.
