Have Taupe Walls and want to change to Grey Walls?

Do you have to prime the walls first? I assume the taupe color will show thru or change the look of the new grey paint.

No need to prime! Most paints have primer & paint in one. The best (& my favorite) brand is Bear Paint at Home Depot!
existing color should not show thru if you purchase a quality paint with a good coverage rating and apply it properly -- cheap paint is NOT saving anything if it gives poor results.
We use Benj. Moore paint although have been pleased with Behr.
